The Pathology Division of the Department of Veterinary Pathology and Public Health is seeking a veterinary pathologist to join the team. We undertake research and teaching and provide diagnostic pathology services to the University and external clients.


You should have an EU/RCVS-recognised veterinary degree, experience in diagnostic veterinary pathology, a postgraduate research qualification (e.g. PhD - completed or near to completion) and preferably a postgraduate qualification in veterinary pathology. Experience in up-to-date research techniques and research expertise in a specific area would be beneficial. You should be keen to contribute to undergraduate teaching and postgraduate residency training schemes and to develop expertise and projects in biomedical research for which the University provides excellent collaborative opportunities. For appointment at senior lecturer level, you must have an excellent research background and hold a globally recognised postgraduate qualification. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Veterinary Pathology team.

You will be based in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and Public Health at Leahurst on the Wirral Peninsula.
