The Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine is pleased to announce an available position in Clinical Pathology, with potential to hire in at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include teaching a mixture of lectures, discussions, and laboratories of DVM students and mentoring one (and hopefully two) pathology residents. In addition, the successful candidate will help support the clinical pathology diagnostic service for the Ross Community Veterinary Clinic. Research efforts and scholarly activity will be tailored to individual interests and would be expected to compliment current research efforts in the department and a personal line of research will be encouraged. Leadership opportunities will be available.

Qualifications required:
• DVM or equivalent degree, Board Certification (preferred) or board eligible (ACVP or ECVP)
in veterinary clinical pathology and experience teaching professional veterinary students and
graduate students is required. Additionally, an MS or PhD degree is highly desirable.
• The selected candidate will have the capacity to develop an independent or collaborative
research program that is consistent with the main focus areas of RUSVM and will have
published widely in veterinary medicine and have some experience of supervising
postgraduate students.
• The selected candidate will be willing to publish in appropriate journals and should possess
good organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• The successful candidate should be able to motivate both students and peers and promote
a culture of collegiality and collaboration within the workplace.

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and work experience.
