The objectives of the European Society of Veterinary Pathology are to promote the scientific work of veterinary surgeons and physicians active in the areas of functional and morphologic pathology of animals, as well as that of other interested natural scientists, by means of organising scientific post-graduate training, conferences and meetings.
Its objects also include acting as a link between national societies and associations for veterinary pathology in Europe and to ensure the maintenance of common interests in veterinary pathology throughout the European sphere.
European Society of Veterinary Pathology
The European Society of Veterinary Pathology was established in 1951 as the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Veterinärpathologen; it changed its name in 1968 to the Europäische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Veterinärpathologen and again in 1974 to become the Europäische Gesellschaft fuer Veterinärpathologie; since 1994 it has been called the European Society of Veterinary Pathology.

All abstracts of presentations given at the conference will be published later in the Journal of Comparative Pathology.
Please remember that the deadline for submission of abstracts is May 10th, 2016. Also note that the publication of an abstract will be strictly contingent upon presentation by at least one of the authors at the Congress and registration including payment of the presenting author by 20th July, 2016.
Abstract length and format
Abstracts must not exceed 250 words in the text body from Introduction to Conclusions, excluding the title, authors and affiliation which have no length restriction. They have to be send preformatted in .doc or .docx, using the submission form below.

Oral and poster abstract instructions
We ask you to specify the preferred presentation format (oral or poster) in the abstract submission form, however, the final decision on the presentation format will be made by the scientific committee.
Poster format is portrait and the maximum size is 75 cm x 100 cm. Materials for securing posters to display boards will be provided by the organizers.

Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Solution office e.K., the conference secretariat. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until 25 July, up to which date the total amount will be refunded minus € 15 for cancellation fee. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after July 25, nor for no-shows for any reasons.
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible. An administration fee of € 10 will be charged.
