The Specialty Practice for Veterinary Pathology (Fachpraxis für Tierpathologie) is a leading provider of diagnostic pathology to German Veterinary practices. We are situated in the heart of Munich and a privately owned institute. 

This is great opportunity for a qualified Pathologist to join our small team of four pathologists. We provide you with flexible working hours (60% - 100%) and a great long term perspective.

Subject area: General pathology comprises basic mechanisms including the cause (etiology) and development (pathogenesis) of diseases in domestic animals as well as general pathological changes in organs and tissues.

We are seeking a veterinarian to undertake a postgraduate research project on reptarenaviruses and the pathogenesis of Boid Inclusion Body Disease (BIBD).

The project will focus on in vitro and molecular biological studies.

The position is available as of 1 August 2016, initially for 12 months.

As a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Global Pathology you will focus on a research project aiming to better understand the structural and functional changes induced in cells and tissues by RNA targeting therapeutics.
